The removal of Center for Disease Control and Prevention data on teenage health, along with the nomination of anti-vaccination activist Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. to lead a federal department that oversees health, pose a clear and present danger to our children.

Politics should not drive decisions when it comes to matters of public health. One recent example of such an action was the removal of a survey by the Youth Risk Behavior Surveillance System, conducted every two years, to assess the health behaviors of high school students. That data was eliminated in a DEI purge.
We are also troubled by the President’s nominee to lead the Department of Health and Human Services. RFK Jr. a health conspiracy theorist who refuses to accept clear and compelling research that vaccines do not cause Autism. He is singularly unqualified, prone to unstable behavior, and has profited from heath conspiracy lawsuits. This is a time to put politics aside and support America’s children.
