Education has always been at the heart of Senator Hashmi’s public service. She believes every child deserves access to fully funded public schools with modern technology, dedicated educators, and the support of career counselors, mental health professionals, and subject-area specialists. Throughout her tenure, Senator Hashmi has championed legislation and budget amendments to strengthen public education, increase support for teachers, and provide vital resources for English Language Learners and students with disabilities.
