NPE Action Endorses 9 Candidates for the U.S. Senate

Published by

The Network for Public Education Action is proud to endorse nine candidates for the U.S. Senate who are in competitive races.

Each is a friend of public education. For example, Steve Bullock of Montana has a strong history of support for public schools and has fended off attempts to institute privately governed charters schools and vouchers.

Sara Gideon introduced legislation that would require districts to let parents know they can opt their children out of annual testing.

Barbara Bollier said that she couldn’t justify charter schools because Kansas schools are not failing. She voted against the bill that gave tax credits for private schools, and she wants more funding for public schools.

Amy McGrath said that she is opposed to charters and private schools receiving taxpayer money.

We would also like to remind you at this time of our strong endorsement of Joe Biden for President.

You can read that endorsement here.

Please share these endorsements on social media and be sure to vote on November 3.
