Brandon Randall for IPS School Board District 1 Seat

Published by

Brandon Randall is currently working on his Master’s in Urban Education at Indiana University, and has a passion for dismantling the school-to-prison pipeline. He has been a Parent Involvement Educator for the IPS district for two years, and currently works with teenage males who have been referred through Juvenile court.

Brandon told NPE Action that he is a supporter of traditional, neighborhood schools and that all available resources should be prioritized for them.

As a Board member he would also prioritize reviewing/changing policies around racial equity, including disciplinary policies and interactions with law enforcement.

Brandon’s positions on testing and privatization are in line with those of NPE Action. He told us that standardized testing should be eliminated, that he supports increased transparency and a moratorium for charters, and that he does not support vouchers.

Please be sure to go to the polls on November 3rd to support Brandon Randall for IPS School Board District 1 Seat.
